Straw Dogs 2 : Strawer dogs .... or something like that
By itself, it kind of works, although it feels like it should be alittle longer and develop a little bit better. The thing is, it reallyowes an awful lot to Peckinpah's movie, except it's two couples insteadof just one and they protect an abandoned girl instead of the villageidiot.
Photography, wardrobe, the people from the village, Coinsidine's arc isvery much like Hoffman's, etc...
Oldman is by far the best thing about it. It's been a while since he'sbeen this good.
In the end, the movie is alright, but it's ripping off a masterpiece.
